Horiba, who are a market leader in sulfur-in-oil analysis, have launched the new SLFA-6100/6800 Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Analyser, which measures sulfur in oil ranging from 5ppm to 9.9999%. This new, compact, and accurate analyser meets the needs of anyone wishing to conform to ASTM D4294, ISO 8754 or JIS K2541/B7995.
The SLFA-6X00 series has an optimized user interface, which includes full-color monitor, USB output, data printout mode option and smaller footprint with a sophisticated look. A shutter shield has once again been adopted to prevent X-Ray leakage, along with a new key switch function and a newly designed turntable.
The measurement is set between 10 to 600 seconds.
Up to 8 samples on SLFA-6800 turntable are analyzed with the pre-set condition.
After selecting the calibration curves and measurement conditions (or select the correct calibration curve using the “A” mode), simply press the “MEAS” button to start the measurement.
The software allows up to 5 sets of 3 calibration curves, to increase the accuracy and usability.
