With a maximum operating temperature of 1200°C, these furnaces can accept work tubes with a diameter from 19.5 — 150nmi. The range includes seven heated lengths from 300mm to 1200mni in both horizontal and vertical versions, with either single-zone or three-zone control. The multi-zone models provide particularly good temperature uniformity and can be used to create a temperature gradient. Heating is provided by semi-embedded, free-radiating wire elements in vacuum formed insulation modules, which provide good support and increase the working life of the element. An integral work tube is not fitted and a separate work tube must be used, but removable tube adaptors at each end of the furnace allow rapid changes for different size work tubes.

The horizontal versions are mounted on an attractive base unit, whilst the versatile models are supplied with a stand kit and a separate control box with a length of conduit flex which permits horizontal, vertical and wall mounted use.
