Carbolite Tube Furnaces

Tube Furnaces

Carbolite's extensive range of tube furnaces is probably the most comprehensive available from a single source and includes wire heated tube furnaces to 1200°C, silicon carbide heated furnaces up to 1700°C and molybdenum disilicide heated elements for furnaces up to 1700°C. Furnaces at 1800°C are heated by lanthanum chromite elements.

 Introduction

Acid Gas Determinator - Designed for the combustion of electrical cable insulation BS 6425: Part 1 and 2 1990 and IEC 754-1: 1994. Inhalation of acidic smoke - rather than burns - is the cause of death of many fire victims.

1200°C Horizontal Split Three Zone tube HZS - Carbolite 1200°C Split Tube Three Zone Furnaces (HZS & TVS) are known worldwide for their responsiveness and operational flexibility.

1200°C Vertical Split Three Zone tube TVS - Carbolite 1200°C Split Tube Three Zone Furnaces (HZS & TVS) are known worldwide for their responsiveness and operational flexibility.

Wire wound tube furnaces to 1200°C - Eleven models in the range of MTF and CTF furnaces with internal tube diameters between 15mm and 150mm and heated lengths between 130mm and 1090mm.

Horizontal tube furnaces to 1200°C - With a maximum operating temperature of 1200°C, these furnaces can accept work tubes with a diameter from 19.5 — 150nmi.

1200°C Thermocouple Calibration Tube Furnace PTC 12/20 - The New Portable Thermocouple Calibrator is a high stability heat source designed for the "calibration" of thermocouples up to 0 7.5 mm, with a maximum operating temperature of 1200°C (1150°C continuous).

Split tube furnaces - Designed for easy loading or placing around a work piece. Five models in the range between 1000°C and 1200°C.

 Carbon 14 Tritium Analyser MTT

High temperature tube furnaces - Ten models between 1500°C and 1800°C. Various lengths and tube diameters with excellent temperature uniformity and choice of controls.

1800°C Vertical Tube Furnace PVT - Carbolite 1800°C Vertical Tube Furnaces (PVT) are known worldwide for their responsiveness and operational flexibility.

Three zone tube furnaces - A choice of eight models between 1100°C and 1700°C. Optional designs allow for horizontal or vertical use.

Vacuum tube furnaces - This range of five models offers vacuum levels of better than 10-5 mbar with a clean empty worktube. The range include 1200°C and 1500°C versions.

Rotating tube furnaces - Many standard tube furnaces can be adapted for continuous use with tilting and rotating mechanisms, variable speed drives and atmosphere control systems.
