The Model 3150 pH/mV/Temperature Meter is designed and constructed to resist the harshest of field, laboratory and industrial environments. The whole system is waterproof to IP67, and if dropped into water will float. This product is ideal for on-site water quality measurement in a multitude of customer applications.

Operation is simplified to enable routine operation by novice users. The instrument is fully menu driven via a sealed tactile keypad. pH/mV and temperature results are displayed simultaneously on a large LCD.

The 3150 allows results to be logged and later recalled onto the instrument display using the data logging protocols. Automatic storage of up to 100 results is possible. These results are stored in non-volatile memory and are maintained even in the event of battery failure.

The pH sensor incorporates a precision temperature sensing element configured to give timely and accurate temperature compensation (ATC) as well as providing a direct readout of temperature in °C or °F. The robust construction of this sensor ensures the optimum durability in the most demanding of environments. Electrode response can be displayed in either absolute or relative millivolts.

pH buffer values of 4.00, 7.00 and 10.05 are automatically recognised by the unit and an endpoint detector indicates when a stable reading has been achieved.

Power is provided by 3AA size batteries giving typically 100 hours of use. An operator selectable auto shut-off feature ensures battery life is maximised. Automatic low battery warning is given when remaining battery life is approximately 5 hours (@ 20°C).

High quality waterproof connectors (to IP67) allow rapid interchangeability of electrodes, whilst maintaining waterproof integrity. The connector incorporates a locking ring to guard against accidental disconnection or ingress of moisture.
