PD Devices have designed the T1SP3 as a three phase, type 1 & 2 (EN 61643-1) surge arrester. The T1SP3 has been purposely designed for use on the boundary between LPZs 0 & 1 (IEC 1312 & EN 62305) in structures using TNS and TT earthing systems.

For use in structures of LPL I3, PD Devices' T1SP3/25/100/230R is ideal for use in banks, mobile operator stations, hospitals, banks, power plants, water works, airport buildings (air traffic control) and all structures that carry an explosive risk.

Meanwhile, PD Devices have designed the T1SP3/12.5/50/230R for use in structures of LPL II (EN 62305). These include buildings such as schools, supermarkets, cathedrals, industrial and administration buildings.
