The DNH HS-8EExmN(T) is an 8 watt re-entrant horn loudspeaker, manufactured from marine grade aluminium alloy, and is suitable for installation in zone 1 hazardous areas. The standard version is available in gas group IIB with gas group IIC available on request.

With a maximum sound pressure level of 109dB(A), this small, robust, lightweight loudspeaker is weatherproof to IP66/67 and features dual M20 gland entries. A three step transformer is fitted to the line voltage models that allows adjustment of sound output by altering the power consumption.

This product is available with stainless steel mounting bracket.

The HS-8EExmN(T) carries gas (G) certification, and in addition to European ATEX certification, is also IECEx approved and approved in North America, Brazil and Russia.

Typical applications are offshore and onshore oil and gas production facilities, chemical manufacture, refineries, fuel stores, painting facilities, ammunition stores etc.

This loudspeaker is available in the following standard versions:

HS-8EExmN low impedance (8 ohm or 20 ohm)
HS-8EExmNT line voltage transformer (100V)
