Making a significant difference in your laboratory, the IKA® RV 10 rotary evaporator has an award winning design and fantastic performance.

New standards for safety, efficiency and ease of use have been set by the RV 10.

The issue of safety has been carefully looked at IKA for all models of the RV 10 from the basic version upwards. A lifting mechanism that raises the evaporator piston out of the heating bath in case of power failure is featured on every model.

Interval operation, end position recognition for the evaporator piston smooth start and a timer function are also all included under the comprehensive safety features of this range.

A digital temperature display and a RS 232 interface have been added to the digital version.

Distillation can be fully automated, using the RV 10 control version. This version comes compete with integrated vacuum controller, USB interface and graphical display.

RV 10 Basic

The base system of the new IKA rotary evaporator range is the RV 10 Basic rotary evaporator with integrated HB 10 heating bath.

Coated or uncoated vertical glassware is also available with the RV 10 Basic.

RV 10 Digital

The combination of reliability, versatility and performance has been met with the IKA RV 10 Digital. This model gives owners the precision of an accurate digitally controlled heating bath.

Results can be reproduced any time, as the data transfer between the heating bath and the drive unit is perfectly coordinated. There is also the option of remote operation from a PC.

RV 10 Control

The flagship model of the RV 10 range is the RV 10 Control.

The RV 10 Control features exactly the same functions as the RV 10 Digital, but also goes one step further.

Just like the RV 10 Digital, the unit can be precisely controlled via the RS 232 interface to enable remote PC operation with IKA's labworldsoft and is therefore perfect for automatic operation. However, the RV 10 Control differs as the control functions also enable completely automatic distillation both for volume based processes and full drying, depending on the area of application.

New processes can also be incorporated using the expandable solvent library.
