These models utilise three
separate resistance wire heating elements semi-embedded in rigidised
low thermal mass insulation, a separate ceramic worktube is optional
Three control systems balance the power to the heating elements to ensure excellent thermal uniformity
Built on the horizontal base pictured left, with a separate control box
Applications in
instrumentation include testing and calibration of temperature sensors
such as thermocouples and PT100's, which require enhanced axial thermal
uniformity
Applications in materials research include testing of novel materials under strict temperature conditions
This range can be supplied with three equal heated lengths, for special applications
