To compliment the RM6-N decade resistance box


The Cropico CM5-N is a five decade capacitance box that compliments the range of resistance decades. Styled in its original ergonomic desk case, the CM5-N in any laboratory is a useful addition as well for educational and industrial use.

The capacitance required is set by means of rotary switches lined with skirted knobs and stators giving the dial setting a clear indication.

A combination of polystyrene and polycarbonate, the capacitors are generously rated with a good dissipation at a minimum of a 160 Vdc factor and a high insulation value.

A useful feature of this unit is the residual capacitance being compensated for the 10 x 100pF and 10 x 1nF dials so that the actual value of the dial setting appears at its terminals.
