LSI LASTEM TEA (Thermal Environments Application) (BSZ313)

LSI LASTEM's TEA stands for Thermal Environments Application. TEA is state of art software which is proposed for the comprehensive analysis of thermal that accessible on the market. The 3 specific modules of the TEA are cold, hot and moderate environments. It is possible to carry out the calculations of ISO index easily, generate the projects and reports of thermal comfort, organize results and perform simulations in a database.

Th TEA application by LSI LASTEM is comprised of 3 models such as BSZ313 for the thermal comfort indexes, BSZ317 for the heat stress and BSZ315 for colder environments.

In BSZ313, it is possible to interpret and determine the thermal comfort by using calculation and thermal comfort criteria, particularly for the optimal comfort conditions on the ISO indexes such as PMV, PPD predicted percentage of dissatisfied, TO the operative temperature and DR predicted percentage of dissatisfied by the draught.

The BSZ315, the interpretation and determination of the cold stress while using the needed cooling effects and clothing insulation to limit the body temperature to the physical thermoregulation activity.

The BSZ317, the interpretation and analytical determination of the heat stress by using the predicted heat strain calculation to prevent the dangerous environment for a health of the hot environment employees.

BSZ313: Thermal comfort indexes. Comfort according to the following ISO standard:

  PMV Predicted mean vote (ISO7730)
  PPD Predicted % of dissatisfied (ISO7730)
  DR Predicted % of dissatisfied by draught (ISO7730)
  TO Operative temperature (ISO7730)

BSZ315: Cold environments according to the following ISO standard

  ITR required thermal insulation (ISO11079)

BSZ317: Heat stress according to the following ISO standard

  WBGT Indoor/Outdoor (ISO7243)
  PHS Predicted heat strain (ISO7933:2004)
