3M ACSi Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus

3M has provided the highest standards in the design and manufacture of Respiratory Protection Equipment for over 75 years.

Developed after considerable research and investment the new Advanced Carrying System, ACS, is set to become the industry standard carrier for SCBA in the marine, industrial and fire environments.

The ACSi is designed specifically as a Class 1, SCBA set for use in industrial environments.

REDUCED USER BURDEN

At only 2.15kg ACSi is the lightest carrying system in its class. It is significantly lighter than competitor products, increasing comfort, ease of movement and reducing wearer fatigue.
ACSi features a sculptured, soft, back plate, which has been developed following research with osteopaths, fabric and industrial technologists to provide greater comfort and fl exibility of movement.
The ACS range is the fi rst carrying system in the world to feature this new ThermoFlexTM technology.

LOWER THROUGH LIFE COSTS

Corrosion resistant Nickel plated components.
Flame retardant webbing and cylinder band.
All components are user serviceable, low cost and easy to maintain.

EASY DECONTAMINATION

Both the back plate and harness can be washed with your turnout gear.
The new material used is approved to maintain its flame retardant qualities when washed following the care instructions at 30degC.
A washing bag can be included to protect the harness and washing machine.

HIGH PERFORMANCE PNEUMATICS

High performance, reliable pneumatics with compact first breath activated demand valve with bypass.
No tools are necessary to remove the pneumatics, simply rotate the pneumatics 90 degrees mounting.
Can be used with 200 and 300 bar cylinders.

WIDE RANGE OF SPECIFICATIONS

Wide choice of facemasks including Vision 3 and Promask PP ranges.
ACSi is approved with a wide range of cylinders.
ACSi is approved with a variety of valve styles.

Two stage pneumatic system comprising Tempest automatic positive pressure demand valve with bypass, shoulder mounted pressure indicator and 55 bar warning whistle: first stage pressure reducer with single high pressure 200/300 bar cylinder connector
Harness fabricated from hard wearing flame retardant polyester material and apparatus features full back padding
Apparatus accepts full range of Scott breathing apparatus cylinders from 4 7 to 9 litres capacity, 200 or 300 bar *
Apparatus is CE Marked to EN137:2006 Type 1 and MED approved
Apparatus supplied less facemask, please order desired mask separately
*Please note to maintain the cylinder valve handwheel on the normal right hand side of the SCBA please order the cylinders fitted with the right angled valve. These cylinders have the suffix -RA
