The Sabre Safety M98 single filter full face respirator comes equipped with a facepiece, drinking port, transparent inner mask with two inhalation valves, wide T-bar sealing edge, speech diaphragm, panoramic visor and a 5-point adjustable and replaceable natural rubber head harness with quick release plastic buckles.
The M98 comes in two sizes, either medium which is the standard issue size, or a smaller version. The unique facepiece is made of a halo-butyl elastomer compound and also has a 40mm thread filter connection. Either a special drinking bottle or a standard PET bottle can be used for the intake of liquid.
There is a sealing edge on the inside of the mask to reduce unnecessary space being used as well as steering valve discs which prevent nostril contact even during intense breathing. The M98's valves are colour coded for easy maintenance.
The M98 gas mask is easy to decontaminate.
The mask can endure several cleanings and can be easily upgraded without the use of tools. It also has a downward facing exhalation valve to ensure that saliva can be properly drained.

The mask provides a secure, comfortable fit with its fitted chin cup. Due to the filter joint placed on the side it does not impede the user's vision.
The Sabre Safety M98 is equipped with a polycarbonate visor which guarantees no optical distortion and an anti-mist surface inside. The visor provides great down-front vision as it is positioned close to the eyes.
